Election - Days After

Our mission at Spring Street Exchange is to drive transformative, values-based change in healthcare. We openly share our values with clients, partners, and through our online presence, using them to guide us as we navigate the changing landscape.

We share many of these values with our network of mission-driven leaders who are dedicated to ensuring that all of our country’s residents have access to safe, high-quality, and equitable health care. We see and appreciate all that you have worked for and sacrificed over the years, and we recognize that there could be new challenges to achieving these goals in the years ahead. We remain committed to walking this path alongside you.

It is difficult to fully assess the incoming administration’s plans for health policy at this time, as they have not yet been clearly defined. Our team will continue to update our political scenario model as developments unfold, and we will do all we can to leverage our tools, data, and frameworks to advance your work.

Our first scenario planning session at Spring Street began following the 2016 election, and we remain committed to helping organizations anticipate, plan, and prepare for the next four years and beyond.

We are honored to be your colleagues, friends, and partners. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warmly,

NW

Note: In May of this year, I shared a Wise Thoughts post on scenario planning related to the 2024 election. Our team developed an Election Scenario Pack in June and updated it in August once Harris became the Democratic presidential candidate. Both resources discussed wild cards leading up to the election (some of which came to pass!) as well as impacts on the healthcare industry based on each candidate’s policy positions that were available at that time. Here is a link to the post and the scenario planning guide in case it is of use to you. We will continue to update these resources as we anticipate potential policy impacts of the incoming administration.
